Short Biography

I am a UX researcher currently pursuing PhD in Innovation with User Experience at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. My PhD research focuses on User Experience. My research interests are augmented reality, internet of things (IoT), accessibility and eye tracking. I am working on multiple research projects focusing on use of augmented reality and IoT to improve user experience of products and services. Along with that, I believe augmented reality itself needs to have a great user experience since it is changing the way we interact with the world around us.

Prior to entering the PhD program, I received MS in Information Technology from WPI and BE in Electronics and Communication from Sanghvi Institute of Management & Science. While pursuing MS, I worked as an intern in User Experience and Decision Making Lab, WPI for two years and gained extensive knowledge of conducting user experience experiments, prototype development, eye tracking and remote testing. I also trained several graduate students who used remote testing on their projects in the UXDM lab. Currently I am working as TA for User Experience and Information Technology courses and as RA inĀ User Experience and Decision Making Lab, WPI.
